Flat Top Mountain
Distance: 15 / 20 miles
Climbing: 200 feet per mile !!!
Description: A very challenging ride, this route takes you up steep, long climbs to the shoulder of Flat Top Mountain from two different directions with some equally steep, winding descents. The basic, 15-mile figure-eight route can be supplemented by an extra out-and-back climb to the observatory at the top of the mountain. The ride is particularly fun in the winter.
1. This ride includes several steep, fairly technical descents for which a mountain bike is recommended.
